Rescues : Please note - these people do wonderful jobs but are typically in dire need of donations. Give what you can - where you can - I'm sure it would be greatly appreciated! Be aware!!! I am listing all rescues I can find and am told about - but always do you research on specific organizations!!! Also note that some rescues are actually registered and some are just good people who have "taken up the cause" and do what they can. At the same time, it's unfortunate, but we have had cases in the news where people CLAIM to be rescues and are actually NOT. AS ALWAYS - DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!!

Why rescue a dog?!? This poor boy I personally took in and re-homed. This is why you rescue dogs... He's gone from starving and sad, to playing and even chillin' on the couch! ('Course he's not REALLY on the couch because ALL legs are on the floor!)

Poor boy - as you can see - WAY underweight!

This is his new "dad"! As you can see - he's doing much better!

And *lol* I'm sure you cant tell - he's completely part of the family now!
